Did I Do That?

I still need more Android testers for my mobile app!

For those that may not have seen my last post, over the last few days, I created a new .NET MAUI mobile application and the Android version of it is officially ready for testing!

I’ve made it easier to join the testers (I need 20 testers to install and use the app for at least 14 days to satisfy Google Play’s policies and allow me to publish it to the Play Store) so that I no longer need to collect e-mail addresses to add people to the test, you just have to join a Google Group instead.

So what exactly is the app?  Its called ‘Did I Do That?’ and its basically a task management application for things you don’t do often to help remind you when things need done.  For example, things like changing your HVAC filter, testing your smoke detectors (its not enough to change the batteries), vehicle maintenance, remembering to schedule pet grooming appointments and stuff like that.

Below is a screenshot of the dashboard to get an idea of what I’m talking about.

If you are interested in testing the app before it comes out to the public, join the Google Group and when you do, you will see a post with the download links that will let you download the app to your Android device.  One thing I should mention though, is it seems you have to be in the US to participate.  I have had people from Germany and Spain interested in helping test and found they were unable to.  So there is that small catch.

If you do choose to help, I will offer my thanks in advance!  And Happy New Years!
