Blog, Podcast, and Other News
Hey Readers!
First, sorry I haven't been blogging lately. My New Years Resolution has clearly gone out the window but I will try to do better. I finally have the desire to blog again so expect much more in the future.
Now that my apologies are out of the way, lets get down to business. Before I talk about my podcasts, I want to pitch an idea to my readers to see what they think. What is the idea you ask? The idea that I had this afternoon is to either do a daily or weekly newsletter or blog post about all of the cool links that I come across. From the latest huge LEGO creation to how to hack your favorite devices, I would do a round up of my favorite links that I come accross. What I want to know is whether you would prefer this to be a blog post or newsletter and if you would like it to be daily or weekly. If you could answer the poll below and put any other feedback in the comments, I would really appreciate it.

Now with the podcast news. Global Geek News is doing great. The listener base is growing and podcasts are coming out weekly if not more often than that! We recently had Walt Ribeiro as a guest and the chemistry between myself and Wesley is amazing.
Geek News Daily on the other hand is a bit rocky. I do shows when I can but its not quite the daily show I had dreamed of. I don't think I have gotten a show up all week but I did have I believe 4 shows last week. Hopefully I can find a good recording time in the future to make it daily. Despite the irregular podcasts, the quality has increased considerably and I have plans to make it even better in the future.
For those who are long time readers and podcast listeners, you know I have wanted to do video for some time. This is still in the cards but I don't know when it will happen. I am hoping it will happen in the near future. I would like to start doing video entries here.
My Battlestar Galactica Live Blog has been huge! Last week there were a ton of wonderful readers. If you haven't joined in on my BSG live blog experience, be here on Friday nights at 10pm EST between now and March 20 when the series ends. I am considering live blogging other shows in the future, so if you have suggestions, leave them in the comments.
I do have other things on my mind that I would like to blog about but I will save them for future posts.

My Cousins Wedding
Hey everybody!
First, let me start off saying Im sorry I dont blog as much as I should on here (although I do on the Global Geek News Blog). Things are starting to ease up on me, so hopefully I can start posting at least once a day as well as picking back up on my podcasts.
Now that that is out of the way, I ended up spending most of Saturday at my cousins wedding. After spending part of my Saturday morning doing yard work, I ended up going to Colorado Springs for my cousin, Dillon's wedding. Not being a fan of weddings, I really didn't want to go but figured it wouldn't be a good decision to stay home and watch the X Games. In the end, I am glad I went to the wedding, even if I did miss my favorite events of the X Games. It was a big, fancy wedding that turned out very nice. While it had a couple of things I saw as unnecessary, it was a fairly short wedding which was nice. After the wedding, the church was quickly turned into a big dining area while every went to get food. The speed at which they turned it into a complete dining area with centerpieces and everything was really impressive. Of course the food was my favorite part of the wedding. It was catered by Chick-Fil-A, my favorite fast food place.
After the wedding and everything was over and cleaned up, all of the extended family went out for dinner at which I had a great pizza. It made for a fun day of meeting people and hanging out with family I actually like. While Im still not a wedding fan, this was probably one of the best I have been to. I am a big fan of short weddings with good food.

World View meeting at church
Hello Readers,
Between now and Wesdnesday, I will do my best at updating, but I forgot that this week is the week that every night until Thursday, I am going to be at church for a seminar on World Views. The first three of the lectures were yesterday and there are still three more to go.
I have found this seminar very interesting as I have spent countless hours learning about ancient civilizations, how they viewed the world and how their veiw had an impact on the world around them.
I will do my best to keep up to date on my blogs through this, but im not sure if I will have time for podcasts. I will get a new Unofficial Mahalo Podcast out sometime at the first part of this week but I dont know when. If I can squeeze it in, starting tomorrow I would like to get back into doing Geek News Daily podcasts. Im not sure if my Global Geek News podcast will get to start back up this week, but I am hopefull.
I will post here for updates and to let you know what is going on. Until then, I recommend following me on Twitter to know what is going on as it happens.

Podcasts have resumed again!
After taking a two week break, I have resumed podcasting. A new Geek News Daily podcast is up! The prep is also done for a Global Geek News podcast. I don't know when this week it will be recorded or who will be on the show, but I hope to have it out before the end of the month and then weekly after that.
On a related note, I plan to move the Global Geek News blog off of blogger, to a wordpress blog on the website. This will allow for me to do more with the blog and should get me to blog almost daily as I had always planned.
Speaking of getting stuff done, the Geek Podcasting Network is a bit behind schedule. Depending on my free time, I will try to get it ready to go up by the end of the week. Expect a big post here when it goes up!
Now that all of that stuff is out of the way, I must say I am very excited that one of my best friends is coming home this week after spending a year in Iraq! I cant wait to see him and go play a round of golf later this week or early next week. I took the online portion of my Cisco CCNA final tonight. I didn't do as well as I had hoped, but I will still end up with a B in the class for this semester. The next semester starts next week.
Thats it for tonight. I shall blog again tomorrow! Don't forget to follow me on twitter!
